A Smart Direction for Business in IoT: Kyle Okamoto Joins floLIVE’s Advisory Board to Deepen Growth Strategies – IoT Evolution World

Let’s talk about floLIVE; the floLIVE team’s mission, its many connectivity-focused offerings, and a this-just-in update regarding fresh leadership that will help in spearheading new IoT initiatives.

floLIVE’s mission, as we’ve covered once before here on IoT Evolution, is simple: Make folks’ lives easier by providing centrally managed hyperlocal connectivity for any device, anywhere. From global-scale enterprises considering cutting-edge IoT services with exceptional time to market to integrate with their products, to mobile operators looking to harness an in-demand, ultra-fast software-defined connectivity (SDC) solution suite, to long-established IoT service providers set on drastically improving control capabilities with a single best-in-class provider – floLIVE works hard to fit the ticket, so to speak, in each of these instances. “Say goodbye to architectural limitations and roaming restrictions, gaps in reliable connectivity, and multiple integrations that take valuable time away from your core product,” one floLIVE representative wrote. floLIVE’s feature-rich solutions enable users to gain direct network access, monitor devices, access real-time events, switch operators remotely and seamlessly, and proactively troubleshoot operational complexities.

The long-story-short of it? floLIVE understands the importance of connectivity, i.e. the lifeblood of IoT, and it expedites growth strategies for businesses looking to build new IoT services (or expand existing ones) while reducing TCO. Because, as stated, floLIVE’s mission is about keeping it simple.

And just earlier this morning, the company announced that Kyle Okamoto, the former General Manager of IoT at Ericsson (and the former General Manager of IoT at Aeris Communications, as well) will be joining floLIVE’s Advisory Board as the Executive Director of Business Strategy.

According to the official press release, Okamoto brings with him “a wealth of knowledge, experience, and leadership working with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), IoT Mobile Virtual Network Operators, and digital enterprise solutions (particularly in the automotive industry) on a global scale.” The timing here is no coincidence, either; floLIVE is currently gaining traction among Tier-1 MNOs and global OEMs (like Qualcomm, which we covered here). Additionally (industry momentum-wise), Okamoto brings a senior-executive-level view of the grand IoT and connectivity market, technologies, challenges and trends, having also served for nearly two decades in several roles at Verizon.

From floLIVE CEO Nir Shalom:

“We are thrilled to have Kyle join our team at floLIVE and help us continue to build a unified connectivity ecosystem. he power of digitalization will be best realized when all key players work in unison, and floLIVE plays a vital role in that. Kyle brings the expertise and knowledge across those key players and will help continue our growth trajectory and help us achieve our mission.”

And, per Okamoto himself:

“I am honored to support floLIVE’s long-term strategy in this new role. floLIVE is in an excellent market position; it is poised for significant growth as more connectivity providers realize the potential of global digital solutions. They need a way to capitalize on this rapidly expanding digital era and find seamless, frictionless paths of success.”

And in that vein, floLIVE provides.
