HP has announced the certification of new Poly terminals by Enreach for Service Providers.

In the evolution of the partnership between HP and Enreach, the Poly Edge E range has been certified, and these terminals are being integrated into the Enreach UP Platform.

Tailored for hybrid and adaptable work environments, the certified Poly phone range is accessible through HP’s extensive network of integrator, reseller, and operator partners.

Robert Urban, Director of Global Sales & Marketing at Enreach for Service Providers, said:

We’re delighted to further enhance our partnership with Poly.  The integration of the Poly Edge E range of desktop phones with our customizable by-design ‘Enreach UP’ platform enables end-users to take full advantage of unified communications features, whether they work remotely or in hybrid mode, empowering productivity and collaborative working.”

The Poly Edge E range presents desktop phones tailored to elevate user experiences. Crafted with hybrid work in mind, these devices incorporate NFC, Bluetooth, Poly NoiseBlock AI, and Poly Acoustic Fence technologies. These features catalyse seamless synchronisation of mobile phone contacts, enabling dialling and answering directly from the office phone and effortless pairing with headphones for superior HD sound quality and advanced ambient noise blocking capabilities.

Additionally, they offer complete customisation options and boast a simplified interface for configuring keys and displays. Also present are embedded support tools that aid in remote diagnosis and troubleshooting, bolstering uninterrupted productivity.

“This evolving collaboration between Enreach for Service Providers and HP will enable the entire network of Enreach for Service Providers partners to take advantage of Poly’s innovations and benefit from an even more efficient hybrid work experience,” added Fabrice Berthelot, Sales Director at Poly France.

Through the ongoing collaboration between Enreach for Service Providers and Poly, all newly certified Poly devices are accessible for download through the PartnerConnect website. Regular updates ensure alignment with device lifecycles. Additionally, the deployment process of these workstations is streamlined and automated, courtesy of Poly’s “Zero Touch Provisioning” service integration.

What Has Enreach Been Up To in 2024?

Enreach for Service Providers CEO Bertrand Pourcelot recently spoke to UC Today about the importance of making mobility the heart of UCaaS and CCaaS.

Pourcelot considers mobility, complementing traditional communications technologies and infrastructure, as a means for service providers to support their enterprise customers with a diverse portfolio of apps and services, but he is well aware of caution among adopters.

“People tend to oppose over-the-top (OTT) apps on smartphones in contrast to GSM network-driven fixed-mobile convergence,” Pourcelot said. “What you need is a smart OTT mobile app that is aware of the full GSM network-driven FMC landscape because, to succeed, you need the best of both worlds. This ‘smart’ FMC is also a nice differentiator or complement to MS Teams when integrated.”

What Has HP Been Up To Recently?

In November 2022, HP and Poly employees officially merged following HP’s $3.3 billion acquisition of the latter businesses. Meanwhile, HP and Poly Solutions announced the Poly Lens App and two Poly Studio Base Rooms Kits for Microsoft Teams on Windows last November.

The company describes the Poly Lens app as a “game-changing” solution that simplifies device management and boosts end-user experience. The Poly Studio Rooms Kits, which come with a Poly GC8 touch control panel and HP Mini Conferencing PC, are tailored to enhance collaboration in hybrid working. HP believes these solutions will help to bridge the gap between employee expectations and experiences.
