- Next on the docket, Corelight. Corelight is the provider of Corelight Open Network Detection and Response (NDR) solutions, and the company has announced its successful $150 million Series E funding round. This was led by its first capital investor Accel, with strategic investments from none other than well-known industry names Cisco (Cisco Investments) and CrowdStrike (CrowdStrike Falcon Fund). According to the official announcement, this funding will “further accelerate Corelight’s AI-driven security innovation, cloud-native security capabilities, and data fusion partnerships with leading cybersecurity platforms to deliver transformative capabilities for SOC analysts and incident response teams.”
- The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) recently announced that its Supply Chain Security Working Group (within the QuEST Forum community) issued an open call for global organizations to join the group to collaboratively work to enhance the TIA SCS 9001 standard to include Internet of Things (IoT) supply chain security. Dave Stehlin, TIA’s CEO, described how “The lack of a single, universally accepted standard for IoT supply chain security risk management is a major challenge for organizations. Equipment and service providers, software and cyber security firms, IT and OT organizations, e-commerce companies and others are welcome to participate in this critical work group. Their valuable input and expertise will be key to helping us to deliver a comprehensive global standard designed to ensure the rapidly growing IoT supply chain is trusted and secure.”
- Ezurio (formerly wireless connectivity and embedded SOM provider Laird Connectivity – we covered their official rebranding here) released its sub-GHz FlexDipole Antenna for select IoT use cases. Engineered to, quote, “redefine the standards of sub-GHz wireless communication,” this antenna has been meticulously designed to support the 863 MHz – 928 MHz frequency range, making it a perfect fit for sub-GHz solutions such as LoRaWAN, Sigfox and Proprietary RF.
- Lastly for today, we covered in a previous “ICYMI IoT” Friday story how Zapata AI’s GenAI platform was selected by American motorsports organization Andretti Global to power its AI race analytics-based operations, given how much data high-performance race cars generate. Well on top of that, the two unveiled the game plan for their next NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, which includes enhancements to their virtual race sensors, data infrastructure integrations, and more predictive race strategy analytics for both on and off the track. Pretty cool stuff, if you ask us.
