DoT to organise hackathon on 5G, 6G technologies – ETTelecom
NEW DELHI: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will host the “5G/6G and Emerging Technologies Hackathon” in September this year.
The initiative aims to bring together innovators, industry leaders, and academics to explore the frontiers of next-generation telecom technologies, the department in a statement said.
The World Telecommunication Standardisation Assembly) WTSA2024 will be held in New Delhi from 15th – 24th Oct 2024, marking a significant step towards the advancements of 5G and 6G networks.
The hackathon, prior to the mega event, will further provide a platform to developers to showcase multiple solutions, it added.
Separately, the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC 2024) will also be hosted at the same venue, scheduled from October 15 to 19, 2024.
During the 30-hour event, held in dedicated 5G labs in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, participants will collaborate in a dynamic environment to develop their ideas.
