floLIVE has released the results of a global survey of IoT connectivity providers conducted by leading analyst firm Kaleido Intelligence. The survey found that two-thirds of IoT service provider respondents believe that eUICC enabled with Multi-IMSI technology can deliver the best global connectivity solution from both performance and regulatory perspectives.
The survey, sponsored by floLIVE, gauged the state of IoT connectivity as told through the lens of the respondents, both Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and IoT Service Providers (ISPs) who deliver connectivity solutions to IoT customers worldwide.
The survey also found that 47 percent of survey respondents said their customers require eUICC solutions. Overwhelmingly, respondents indicated that the benefits of combining eUICC and Multi-IMSI were greater than using either technology alone, including cost (78 percent), connectivity stability and availability (83 percent), and ease of migrating to a new connectivity provider (86 percent).

Any new technology on the market needs to be proven and solutions that meet the challenge of global connectivity need to be easy to adopt and unified to deliver the unique and complex requirements of IoT organizations. To see that more than half of respondents believe in the power and the benefits of eUICC and Multi-IMSI shows that this technology has built confidence as a strong approach to global connectivity in this market.
