Infinix is all set to launch the GT 20 Pro in India today. Along with the smartphone, the company will also launch its first gaming laptop, which is called the GT Book. The smartphone is a successor to the GT 10 Pro, which was launched last year along with some gaming controls.The GT 20 Pro is a mid-range 5G smartphone that will cost less than Rs 25,000 and will be available for purchase on Flipkart. It’s notable for being India’s first phone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC.


Infinix GT 20 Pro: Expected specifications and design

The Infinix GT 20 Pro boasts a unique Cyber Mecha design with an LED interface that offers 8 customizable color combinations and lighting effects. Marketed as a gaming device, it includes a cooling fan to manage heat during intense gaming sessions. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC, with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

A key feature of the GT 20 Pro is the dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo display gaming chip, which supports a 90FPS high frame rate and SDR to HDR conversion. It runs on the latest XOS14 custom skin, based on Android 14, promising a clean and bloat-free software experience. Infinix has committed to providing three years of security patch updates and two Android OS upgrades for this device.

Globally, the GT 20 Pro features a 6.78-inch 10-bit FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is equipped with JBL-tuned speakers for an enhanced audio experience. It also houses a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and utilizes Infinix’s proprietary VC Chamber Cooling technology for better heat management.

Infinix GT Book: Expected Specifications

The new budget-friendly laptop from Infinix, known as the GT Book, is expected to feature a 16-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an RGB light setup on the back of the lid. The laptop’s body is made of metal, adding to its premium feel. It is likely to come in multiple configurations, including options with Intel Core i9 13th Gen coupled with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, Intel Core i5 13th Gen with GeForce RTX 4050, and Intel Core i5 12th Gen with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050.

With these upcoming releases, Infinix is targeting both gaming enthusiasts and budget-conscious consumers, offering high-performance devices with advanced features at competitive prices.
