Intrado has named Liz Nguyen as its new Chief Technology Officer to “revolutionise” its communications services.
Intrado has appointed Nguyen to spearhead the company’s technological vision and ensure it aligns with broader business objectives. This role involves fostering strategic partnerships across various departments to drive innovation and support Intrado’s commitment to advancing the field of emergency communication services.
“Intrado’s cutting-edge technology and unwavering commitment to public safety create a powerful foundation for innovation,” said Nguyen.
I’m impressed by the team’s dedication to developing solutions that empower telecommunicators and first responders with critical, real-time information. I’m eager to apply my expertise and lead our team in enhancing our Next-Gen 911 capabilities, ultimately helping to reduce response times and improve outcomes for communities across the nation and around the world.”
Intrado explains that Nguyen, with over two decades of expertise in software development and technology strategy, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. As a seasoned technology leader, Intrado says that Nguyen has a solid track record of spearheading software innovation and modernisation. Previously, as the CTO of Vertafore, Nguyen was instrumental in guiding the company’s tech strategy and driving its digital transformation in the insurance software sector.
Nguyen’s career also includes significant positions at other leading tech firms, which Intrado affirms demonstrates a consistent ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver substantial outcomes. Beyond technical solutions, Nguyen is dedicated to cultivating a collaborative and learning-oriented culture within their technology teams.
“We’re excited to welcome Liz as our new CTO at this pivotal moment in Next-Gen 911 technology adoption,” added Matt Carter, Chief Executive Officer at Intrado. “Intrado is set to accelerate innovation in mission-critical communication systems, ensuring we continue to provide first responders with the most advanced tools while navigating complex regulatory landscapes.”
