Satellite-based 5G IoT connectivity company Sateliot has partnered with Exolaunch, which is a leader in satellite deployment services. Sateliot will deploy four additional satellites under the agreement and these will be named Sateliot_1, Sateliot_2, Sateliot_3, and Sateliot_4. The satellites are classified as 6U and to be launched on the SpaceX Transporter-11 Rideshare mission in mid-2024.

Sateliot CEO Jaume Sanpera emphasized the importance of the partnership. He said that partnering with Exolaunch is a significant milestone for the company while revolutionizing 5G IoT connectivity from space. The sentiment was echoed by Exolaunch mission manager Pablo Lobo. He expressed his excitement over the partnership.

The launching of the four satellites aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-11 mission will be from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. It will signify the start of commercial operations of Sateliot. It will also represent a step forward to its plan of building a constellation of 250 satellites.
