Oslo, 12 June 2024 – Xplora Technologies AS (“Xplora”) is pleased to announceanew Premium Reseller agreement with Telenor Connexion, aimed at expandingXplora’s IoT connectivity services across Europe and beyond. The agreementenables Xplora to offer 4G connectivity under its own brand to 3rd partydevicemanufacturers and operators, allowing Xplora to scale its service revenueindependently of its device sales.
Under this agreement, Xplora will offer connectivity services to 3rd party IoTdevices throughout Europe, with potential global expansion. The Europeanmarketalone has an estimated 70-100 million 4G connected IoT devices, includingsmartmeters, agricultural sensors, connected vehicles, and wearables, and isexpectedto grow significantly over the coming years.
This partnership, targeting a launch in Q3 2024, will enable Xplora to offerSoftware as a Service (SaaS) solutions independently of its smartwatches. Thisinitiative is expected to broaden Xplora’s service offerings and drive revenuegrowth.
